Almost Afraid is the first co-directed film by long term collaborators Cameron Joseph Walker and Sebastian wells Chavez.
The Film, set in 1998, follows Simon Britton, an amateur documentarian, as he investigates Brisbane's most haunted house.
The Film is being produced by Walker and Chavez, with support from Rose Elmer (producing debut).
The cast includes Walker himself as Simon Britton, alongside Siena D'Arienzo, Naire McDonald & Olivia van Gool.
The film has completed post-production, and is slated for release late 2026 after its premiere at SUFF's Take48 screening mid September.
